Hotly becoming a popular custom in the UK is the giving of favours at Christenings, Bar Mitzvahs, Communions and Baptisms. Although the presentation of a small gift for guests in attendance at a child's religious festival dates back many centuries, it is only in recent years that the custom has become so widespread.
