When it comes to multi level marketing, doubters always point to the structure of the business as the reason these programs are doomed to failure. First of all, multi level marketing programs lend themselves to becoming pyramid schemes – in fact, many multi level marketing organizations are nothing more than exactly that. Others point to the fact that even a legitimate multi level marketing business opportunity is destined to go bust because the very nature of the set up causes the market to become saturated with more sellers than buyers. Since reps recruit new members from their circle of family and friends, suddenly everyone you know is selling, and there is no one left to buy.

These all sound like logical arguments to approach multi level marketing with a great deal of skepticism and doubt. But the fact remains that some multi level marketing outfits are indeed profitable, thriving, legitimate businesses, so there seems to be some flaw to blaming the sky high failure rate of multi level marketing get ups on the structure alone. So, what else could be causing the problem? The real root of the issue here might be the people that tend to jump at these multi level opportunities.

To explore this issue, we have to leave aside the subject of multi level businesses that are out and out scams. These will fail eventually, and people will lose financially and personally when they do. But taking the multi level marketing programs that have the potential to be successful – why such a rate of failure? Well, much of this comes down to the people that are lured into multi level marketing deals. People with a lot of business experience have a natural distrust of multi level marketing deal, even if at their base, the best multi level businesses are hardly different from a franchise. What that means is that there’s not a lot of business skills and know how flowing into multi level marketing deals. The reps that many of these programs end up with are wet behind the ears or worse. Many of them have a history of failing at business and a tendency to flit from one get rich quick scheme to the next. They simply may not have the knowledge to capitalize on the legitimate opportunities a multi level marketing scheme can offer.

All the products that you want to sell online are ready. You have already signed up with the Google Adsense program or with other affiliate marketing programs and you have already prepared the ad you want to post on your affiliate’s site. Your mind is now set to being the next most successful multi level marketer businessman. But is there anything else that you might have forgotten to prepare? Maybe none. But how about your landing pages? Are they all set for your business?

Landing pages are simply web pages where prospective MLM leads are directed to whenever they click a result in a web search or whenever they click a web ad. For affiliate marketing, landing pages would refer to the web page where you, as a merchant, would want your potential customer to be directed after clicking your ad on your affiliate’s website. Landing pages are, at most times, nothing really different from other web pages in a particular website, especially if the said website is an e-commerce site. Some online multi level marketers would even use the homepage of their websites as the landing page for their ads. Are these businessmen making a big mistake? Or should you follow their method in creating landing pages for their ads?

Well, you can always follow what most online marketers do, directing their potential multi level marketing leads to the homepages of their websites. But if you want to achieve something more from your online MLM business, and if you want to earn a lot of profits, you better create a special landing page for your web ads. Why? To the casual observer, it would seem that multi level marketing scams (MLM scams) are abundant on the internet. 

Working on the internet just doesn’t seem to have the same amount of trust as sitting across the desk from a seasoned businessman.  Sometimes, it seems that you might be sending off your money into cyberspace, and never see anything in return.

However, multi level marketing scams simply aren’t as prevalent as they used to be.  There are so many advances in security, government scrutiny, and financial transactions that it’s much harder to pull of multi level marketing scams.

This rampant notion of multi level marketing scams stemmed from the copious amount of fraud when business first appeared on the internet.  It was easy back then; the government didn’t have as many programs to watch over internet transactions, and nobody had yet built a solid reputation as businessmen like so many have on the internet in this decade.

Furthermore, a lot of people believe that multi level marketing scams are more widespread than they are in reality because they are simply skeptical of the MLM business model.  Frankly, they believe ALL MLM’s are scams, whether on the internet or not.

It’s true that a lot of people fail in MLM’s.  But, did you know that 95% of any small business goes under in the first 5 years?  That’s not any worse than an MLM business.

Furthermore, where else can you leverage the work of hundreds of others without having the overhead of a huge company?

Well don’t get involved with any multi level marketing systems until you see this.

Over the past few years multi level marketing has got more and more popular because as you know times are getting tough and people are turning to the Internet for ways to make an income. Even big named companies like Kleeneze and Avon are starting to get involved with multi level network marketing to expand and grow the business.

I see marketing system that claim you can make thousands and thousands of dollars a month in less than so many weeks by doing next to nothing and I know straight away that they are going to fail. Why? Well it’s because people are joining under the impression they only need to join and the sit back and watch the cash flow in which is totally untrue.
